Caption Magic

Find the words that fit the photo.

A good photo doesn’t always come with the right words. Share the image, and tell us the part it can’t show — who’s in it, what was happening, the joke behind it. Caption Magic gives you six captions to pick from, from plainly useful to genuinely strange, and you can keep asking for funnier, warmer, drier or weirder until one of them makes you laugh.

Overview

Caption Magic turns a photo into a small set of caption ideas without making you explain the picture back to yourself. Upload an image or describe it, then add anything the image cannot know — who is there, what was happening, an inside joke, or something to avoid. You get six captions with real range, from straightforward to warm, clever, funny, dry, or unexpectedly strange. From there you can ask for funnier, warmer, drier, more unhinged, a surprise, or six more, and refine a caption you like.

How to use it

  1. Upload, paste, or describe the photo
  2. Add optional context the image cannot show, especially relationships, backstory, or an inside joke that would make the caption better
  3. Say if there is anything the captions should avoid mentioning
  4. Choose the platform and preferred caption length
  5. Pick from six captions, then ask for a different direction or refine one you like

Example

Scenario: You have a photo from a family gathering where one person's expression is funny, but the picture alone cannot show the running joke behind it.

What you do: Upload the photo and add one sentence explaining the relationship and the joke.

Result: Caption Magic returns six different caption ideas rather than six rewrites of the same joke. You can copy one immediately, ask for a funnier or drier batch, or work further on a caption that is close.
