Date Night

A full evening plan, on budget, anywhere

Budget-driven evening planner for two. Pick your currency, set a budget and vibe, and get a complete itinerary with timing, cost per stop, budget buffer, transportation tips, and a Plan B. Works worldwide — adapts to local culture, venues, and pricing.

Overview

DateNight turns 'I dunno, what do you want to do?' into a complete evening with a timeline, per-stop costs, and a built-in budget buffer. Pick your currency and set a hard budget, choose a vibe (casual, romantic, adventurous, first date, anniversary, stay-in), and enter your city. It generates 2-4 stops with culturally appropriate venues — izakayas in Tokyo, tapas bars in Madrid, hawker centres in Singapore — plus conversation starters and a Plan B.

How to use it

  2. Pick a date type — casual, romantic, adventurous, first date, anniversary, or stay-in

Example

Scenario: You have ¥8,000 for a romantic date in Shibuya, Tokyo, starting at 7:00 PM. Your partner doesn't eat seafood and you went to an izakaya last time.

What you do: Select JPY ¥, set budget to ¥8,000, select Romantic, enter 'Shibuya, Tokyo', add 'no seafood', note 'izakaya' as last time

Result: Vibe: 'Neon Glow & Hidden Bars.' 7:00 PM: A standing yakitori bar in a narrow alley near Nonbei Yokocho (~¥2,500). 8:15 PM: A quiet Italian-Japanese fusion restaurant with handmade pasta (~¥3,500). 9:30 PM: Walk through the illuminated streets to Yoyogi Park's edge (free). Total: ~¥6,000, buffer: ~¥2,000 for drinks or dessert. Plus conversation starters, transit tips, and a Plan B ramen shop if the main spot is full.
