Overview

Plot Twist runs your decision through multiple thinking frameworks that therapists, strategists, and decision scientists use — but applied specifically to YOUR situation. It doesn't tell you what to decide. It shows you angles you're missing so the answer becomes obvious to you.

How to use it

  1. Describe the decision and what's making it hard
  2. Name your options (we'll add 'do nothing' automatically)
  3. Select the values this decision touches
  4. Tell us why you're stuck — this helps identify your blind spot
  5. Review the framework analysis, comparison matrix, and gut check

Example

Scenario: You got a job offer paying 40% more but requiring relocation. Current job is comfortable but stagnant. Partner is open to moving but not excited.

What you do: Describe the situation, add 'Take new job' and 'Stay' as options, select Career growth + Financial security + Family as values, pick 'fear of regret' as stuck reason.
